Avery

Our other little doll is Avery Claire.  She was born at 5 lbs even and 17 3/4 inches long.

She had APGARS of 8 and 9 (her mini sister beat her) and went to the regular nursery. 
Having very little history with newborns, I didn't realize how TRUELY tiny she is until I fed her in the nursery while Chris was in recovery.  A giant baby was next to me under the billi lights. She could have fit in his belly. He was over 11 lbs. How do you cook a baby so big??

She had a pretty kicking time in the hospital cuddling with her grandparents and mommies, and came home with Chris at 4 lbs 12 oz.

    It must be quite weird that she's so tiny compared to full-term babies but yet so much bigger than her sister. :) She's beautiful too!

    Oh my gosh, they're both so precious! So glad they're both home with you now and you can put the stress of the NICU behind you!
